You can make your own way up to Shirley Heights Antigua or organise a private van from about 55 USD per person. The entry fee is 27 ECD ($10 USD) per person over 12. For a couple in a private taxi they will want around 100 USD to drive the hour there and back and wait for you on site. You will get to leave when you want which is a big advantage vs going with a resort organised shuttle.

I spent the day being honorary tour guide for two French Canadians Jean and Michel who were great company on the dive boat today. Oh man boy oh boy did we have some of the best diving I have done in the Caribbean this week ! You don’t hear this online about Antigua Diving as it doesn’t get rated – another inaccuracy of the internet.
