Typical weather for September in Antigua
September is arguably Antigua’s slowest month and many businesses close like restaurants and even some resorts if they are due a refurb. The schools go back and you will find yourself prey more often for the touts whose income dries up rapidly. There are of course benefits to having low season outside of the weekends you can have some beaches to yourself.
Temperatures don’t really change from August but it is on average cooler slightly and the shift towards ‘winter’ or the dry season begins.
