Overnight Stay and Parking at Manchester Airport
Editors note: At the time of writing Thomas Cook were the same brand you all knew and loved. Unfortunately they went under. Some conglomerate bought up the brand and it is a sticker slapped on a website now, expect a different service level and product and trust it as much as a brand you never heard of before.
For our recent trip to Antigua we departed from Manchester with Thomas Cook Airlines and elected to stay in a hotel. Unfortunately Manchester was subject to a terrorist atrocity the night before at the Ariana Grande Concert but to the city’s credit they didn’t allow the terrorists to disrupt everything and flights carried on as normal. There was a big feeling of guilt to be leaving on holiday knowing how tough the lives of the families involved were now.
We picked the Airport Inn & Spa Manchester as it came out on top after our rigorous checking and going through reviews. You don’t have to do that as we have found the best one already (well ok we didn’t check the others but they won’t be better at this money)
Quick reasons why we picked the Airport Inn and Spa
Located 10 minutes by car from the airport – during rush hour we took just 10 minutes to arrive in the airports car park.
Great Value for money.
Ease of check in.
Room size and standard.
Restaurant and Bar.
It uses the airports own long stay so when we touch back down we can quickly escape back home.

Going All Inclusive?
Why not buy a couple of inflatable drinks holders or a Bubba? You can find them on this page. The drinks holders are a lot of fun and are practical too – trying to balance a disposable cup in the sand results in a loss of rum punch and they really are stable in the pool as well – check out the video here.

A really bright and airy room (standard double), with full bathroom and an additional pull out sofa double, should you need it. The bed was comfortable, no noise issues and plenty of onsite parking. It’s is free to park here overnight as a hotel guest, you just need to enter your car reg at the Reception portal to ensure you don’t get a ticket!
The onsite restaurant was very accommodating by allowing us to order food at 10:15pm and the atmosphere was nice. Reasonable prices too.
Highly recommended for staying before or after a flight from Manchester, as with the parking at the Terminal included (this hotel is for T1 and T3) it made the logistics really smooth and hassle free.
